Thanks for sharing this super personal story! I also have a blocked fallopian tube and have tried many rounds of IUI but am considering the laparoscopic surgery and IVF at this point. It was really good to hear that insurance can deem it not medically necessary afterwards - this is a good thing to consider and I am going to try to get it approved before hand if I can. It is also nice to just hear the emotional side of what other people are going through. This process can be so isolating, because as you said others don't know what to say or how to relate. I am glad you were willing to put yourself out there and I look forward to reading more of your entries as I continue on my own journey.

My husband and I am still pretty new to IF Island. I found your blog through a friend, and began reading it yesterday. You have affirmed every feeling and thought I have had so far. Thank you for your honesty and strength. This is such a hard road to travel, and I feel like we've only just begun.
