I have been married 15 years ...and have been trying on and off for almost as long. At 36 i am trying IVF once again ,and it seems all so normal ,doctors ,injections and the dreaded 2 week wait. This time the anxiety is at a all time high ..as time and my age quickly creeping up. At times i lift my hands up and say how much more...and need to remind myself that God has ultimate control and no matter how much stressing i do won't change anything

Don't Count Your Eggs

Thanks for your sweet words Jennie. I know this whole shebang can be so overwhelming--and underwhelming at the same time somehow. It feels like everything takes forever! Good luck on your first IVF cycle! I wish you all the best. It's emotionally exhausting so do take good care of yourself!

Your blog is wonderful. You have a way of putting into words what my husband and I are feeling and that in itself makes me feel less alone in all of this. We too have been on the island for two and a half years and we are just about to start our first IVF cycle. Last weekend I had a little bit of a meltdown when it all just hit home and became a bit too much and I desperately wanted to be on the first ferry off this hideous island. But....I breathed and read through some of your blogs and felt a little bit better. And for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are so brave to share your story and experiences and I wish you every happiness x
