Yay for a girl!! So happy!

Don't Count Your Eggs

Thanks everyone! A gender identity really does make it all seem more real. Rebecca, Noah laughed at your comment. He totally thinks the same way-- can we really cart a little girl around in our 1989 Land Cruiser that Noah grew up in? I drive the beast so Momoko will be just fine. Also I think Noah just wants a new car. Good luck with that, Dude!

Yay!!!!! So excited for you both!!!!

Soo wonderful!!!! A beautiful little warrior girl!!! Every time I read your story it renews my hope, against all odds (and a resistant lining..) cherish this time being pregnant now - you deserve it!!!! Xoxo

This made my day. So happy for you both.

I smiled all the way through this post! I am so incredibly happy for you and Noah! I almost cried when I saw the ultrasound picture earlier this week! And a girl...I knew it all along BC like you said a couple weeks ago....only a girl can fight off a blood monster this well! Congratulations!!!!!

I agree with Jojo. Noah is so great and nurturing with you. A girl! How exciting! Just don't go on Etsy. You'll go crazy looking at cute homemade things, like bows....and tutus!!!!

A beautiful girl! So happy for you!!!! Xxx

How wonderful!!

Can I ask for a blog post on how you got financing for the egg donation?

A Few Good Eggs

A little girl! When we found out we were having a girl, my husband read the news first and said, "I don't know anything about these." I have faith they can figure it out. So very exciting!

Xoxo, from Brooklyn

Such wonderful news...you will both make wonderful parents to a little girl.
You have already gone to the ends of the earth and back for her. So happy for you both! xo

Maya!!! A girl!!! I knew it! Remember how in a past post you said this has to be a girl because of her fight? Yes indeed! Wait til you see the bond a father has with is daughter. It's amazing! We too were sure it was a boy and when I told Alan it's a girl he nearly fainted. He said " oh God how am I going to protect her from the creeps in the world" those two are a match made in heaven. It's so fun watching them together. So happy for you !!!!

LOL, love it! A beautiful, healthy baby girl!! Sweet Momoko! Congratulations Maya and Noah! She is one lucky little sweet pea to get you guys for her parents! Xx

A GIRL!!! My dna test came back as girl as well, and I was 99% sure it was a boy. But I secretly wanted a girl so badly, so I have been giddy every since hearing those results. My husband wanted a boy, but it is adorable to watch him come around to the idea of a little girl. We all of a sudden need a new vehicle, because ours isn't good enough in the snow. If it was a boy, well, that little infant could tough it out. But a girl! She must be safe! It's so illogical, but so cute all the same.

I love that this is now the kind of dramatic plot twist we can expect from your blog! I love it! I could tell you were kind of assuming Momoko was male, and I thought maybe she has mother's intuition on this… but no! So glad she's healthy and that she's giving you two some good surprises after all the bad news you've dealt with in the past.

Yayyyyyyyy!!!!! You and Noah will make the best parents to a girl. Watching how he treats you in the video clips ( with compassion, total respect and a little bit of awe) he is made to father a little girl. So happy for you Maya. What a gift.

eeekkkk... SO EXCITING! I had a feeling little Momo was a girl. I am so happy for you guys
